      With a lot of calcium, vitamin A, vitamin B, magnesium, potassium and the cheese is lactose-free.

      The Pag hard cheese was awarded at the World Championship in Wisconsin, USA as one of the best sheep cheeses in the world.

      Since 1890, in several generations, MIH Sirana from Kolan, Island of Pag, has been known for producing regional cheese specialities of the best quality.

      It is our honour and pleasure to inform you that our cheese dairy MIH SIRANA KOLAN, after a flawless certification process, is the first cheese dairy in Croatia to be entitled to bear the certificate for genuine Pag cheese - Paski Sir with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO).

      This certificate of conformity for MIH Sirana Kolan's Pag cheese is currently the only one in Croatia protected by the Ministry of Agriculture for Croatia, which means it is the highest level of protection for the origin of products available in Croatia. The production was carried out according to all the required EU standards. As of today, the cheese is an elite cheese on a global level.

      This designation gives the Pag Cheese Paški Sir a special meaning, control in the production of cheese, which is the most important reason for the certification process; original and controlled raw materials and the process in production as well as the labelling were now protected.

      The common interest of all associations was only the protection of Pag Cheese - Paški Sir, so that it now receives even greater value and to prevent the misuse of Pag Cheese - Paški Sir on the market.

      The genuine Pag sheep's cheese has not only a distinctive taste, but also healthy ingredients. It contains proteins, vitamins and minerals. Sheep's cheese is considered a nutritious food because it provides the human body with high-quality proteins. It also contains important vitamins such as vitamin A and the B vitamins, as well as valuable minerals such as calcium, magnesium and potassium.
