Winemaking:Destemmed grapes are macerated for up to14 days. After malolactic fermentation the wine is left to mature in large oak barrels and barrique barrels until bottling.
Aging potential:10-15 years
Colour:Dark ruby, reminiscent of ripe sour cherries, with soft brick-red glints
Aroma:Very complex, reminiscent of forest fruit, tobacco, sour cherry and herbs, complemented by dark chocolate and truffle aromas in the background.
Taste:Very complex on the palate, it offers the perfect combination of the Cabernet Sauvignon's rich structure, Merlot's velvety texture, Shiraz's ripe fruitiness and Refosco's liveliness and juiciness.
Food and wine pairing recommendation: Pairs well with red meat, game and truffle dishes.
